the crow
On a dark evening in snowy March, as I was staying with a dear friend of mine, they brought a crow out of the freezer.

Out of darkness.
It’s one of the perks of being friends with a biologist – you never know what you might find in their houses (especially freezers and fridges). This crow (Corvus cornix) was once a specimen used in a taxidermy course – now the subject of my curious eyes. There’s something fascinating about the details of this common (and very intelligent) bird. I guess that’s the case with most things: if you look close enough, you’ll find something you didn’t expect.
Dinosaur feet.
Metallic.
Sea of Black.
That’s all the weirdness for today – have a fantastic weekend!
